The monthly amount needed to sponsor a student is divided into shares - each share is $10/month. You can choose to be the child's only sponsor and select all of the shares, or you can choose a portion of the shares and another sponsor(s) will take the remaining shares. Bianca briefly considered studying law but her passion is business and she believes there are many opportunities for small businesses in her community of Gonaives. She hopes to graduate University and then work for a large market to gain experience. After that she would like to open her own business and create jobs for people. She would also like to start a business that would give her community access to items that would normally only be sold in Port-au-Prince.
Bianca’s sister Kerlanda just graduated as well and they they plan to do this program together, support each other, and share resources.
