The monthly amount needed to sponsor a student is divided into shares - each share is $10/month. You can choose to be the child's only sponsor and select all of the shares, or you can choose a portion of the shares and another sponsor(s) will take the remaining shares. Wisdjanie is an only child and lives with her parents in Grand Goave. When she heard her mom say that there is only 3 of them in the family she got very upset! She says her cat Lori is as much a part of the family as she is and she’s tired of hearing people not understanding that.
Wisjanie’s dad has been the main provider for their family. He is a plumber and was working full time at a compound. Unfortunately the compound closed permanently in April due to Covid-19.
Wisdjanie loves going to school and isn’t able to choose a favorite subject. She even likes to help wash her school uniform!
With parents that love & support her, a compassionate nature and the determination to stand up for what she’s passionate about – the sky’s the limit for Wisdjanie!
