Chessena is an only child and she lives in Grand Goave with her father and her grandparents. Her mother left her with her father when she was very young and she doesn't play an active role in her life. In addition to her grandmother, Chessena has an aunt that lives nearby and has taken her under her wing. If her grandmother is busy, Chessena walks down the street to her aunt's house to get her hair braided for school. Chessena's favourite thing to do at school is play! She always arrives early & is the last to leave, so that she can play on the playground. She has an agreement with her father... she is allowed to have extra playtime (before & after school) as long as she comes home with a clean uniform! When Chessena graduates from school she dreams about being a Nurse and working in the local hospital.
