We have exciting news to share with you… we received notification today from the CRA that Alongside Families in Haiti Society is now designated as a Registered Charity in Canada!!
For those of you that have already made a donation, we are happy to say that our charity designation is effective January 1, 2020, so we will be able to issue a tax receipt for any donation that was made after that date. Tax receipts will be issued at the end of the year.
We have been working towards this designation for almost a year and we are excited to be moving on to the next phase. Thank you so much for joining us on this journey and for helping us celebrate our milestones along the way.
