Pastor Lex and his team made it through the roadblock after a lengthy discussion and a promise to return with supplies on the way back. It would have been dangerous for them to stop and distribute as the crowd was so large so we were relieved at the outcome.
The team had a long day today filtering water and distributing the food packages.
We were thankful to be able to respond so quickly and we will continue to purchase food & supplies in the coming weeks.
